Burger recipe, cheddar, bacon with cauliflower and Dijon
(4 servings)
Burger
- 750 g (1 1/2 lb.) lean ground beef
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) chopped green onion yes white or red onion
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- MTL Steak Spice
- 4 burger buns
- Cauliflower puree Épurée
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard (to taste)
- 100 gr old cheddar
- 8 slices of bacon (Gosselin smokers) or 4 slices of prosciutto
- Salt and pepper
Trim (your choice)
- Tomato
- Salad

- Mix ground beef, garlic and onions in a cold bowl, season and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Cook 30g of mixed ground beef in the microwave or in a frying pan to make sure the meat is well seasoned.
- Prepare 4 patties and cook over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. The dumpling should remain juicy.
- Mix cauliflower purée with Dijon and cook bacon.
- Slice bread and toast.
- Finish cooking the dumpling in the oven with the cheddar cheese on top.
- Enjoy your meal!
Note
* To barbecue patties: preheat bbq to high. Thoroughly clean and oil grill. Cook patties 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
* Bacon and cheddar cheese can be chopped and mixed with the patties.
